4 signs of wearing incorrect Shaping Lingerie

How do I know if I'm wearing the right Shaping Lingerie product?

Here're 4 simple, tell tale signs that you're wearing the wrong shaping lingerie.

1) Underarm & Back fat. Do you see improvement or has it gotten worst? A good Shaping Bra re-shapes your breast, reduces the appearance of Underarm and Back Fat. You may even increase a cup size by wearing a good Shaping Bra.

A bad bra that is not three dimensional (3D), may 'flatten' your breast, and pushes your breast tissue to your underarm and back, causing reduction in cup size and accumulation of fat under the arm and back area.

In some cases, the underwire of a poorly designed 2D bra cup compresses against the lymph nodes, around the breast area, hindering proper circulation around the breast area.

Too small or Poorly designed Bra cup does not hold & support your breast properly. It tends to push the breast tissue to the side, causing unslighly underarm fat.

2)  Can you still breathe properly after 6 hours of wearing? Traditional corset is tight, with minimal elasticity causing discomfort after long hours of wearing. Today, a good shaping lingerie made from high tech material should be Elastic and Light, allowing for up to 8 hours of wearing without any discomfort.

Ensure the sizing is correct. Too small sizing will be too tight, and can hinder circulation, causing dizziness or numbness to certain body parts. Shaping Lingerie is not meant to be excessively tight as previously believed.
To re-shape effectively, it is best to wear your Shaping Lingerie daily, for up to 8 hours. If the discomfort is stopping you from wearing it daily for a number of hours, then the shaping effect will be minimum.

Based on our own experience, 8 hours of wearing is the optimum for re-shaping. It is effective, and for most professional women, it is within your working hours at the office. You can remove it when you reach home. Wear your workout and Work your body during office hours! There is no need to wear your Shaping Lingerie to bed. Shape up during the daytime, and wear your night lingerie to bed.


3) Hot, Sweaty & Sticky. Is that how you feel when you wear your Shaping Lingerie? A good quality shaping lingerie, made from good quality material is both Functional (for re-shaping), as well as Light and Quick Dry.
When you lift up your Shaping Lingerie, it should be 'light'. It is a piece of Lingerie after all! If your Shaping Lingerie feels heavy like your jeans, then the  material is too heavy and too thick for your comfort.

4) 3D versus 2D. Your shaping lingerie acts as a 'mould' to re-shape your body. Always ask for a full 100% 3D shaping lingerie. A 2D design tend to compress your body, flattens and broadens your body instead of shaping it.

Remember that all shaping lingerie has a permanent shaping effect. A good or bad lingerie re-shapes you either positively or negatively. Always invest in a good pair of Shaping Lingerie that is right for you - the right product, design and size.

Will I lose weight after wearing Shaping Lingerie?

This is a very common question asked by many customers. Let us at ideell, try to clarify a misconception about Shaping Lingerie.

Shaping Lingerie, as the name suggests, is primarily for Shaping. The primary objective of this piece of undergarment is to “Shape”. Should you weigh yourself on a weighing machine, your weight loss may be minimal or none at all.
